INTELLIGENT BEAM HEADLIGHTS
This system controls the activation of main and dipped beam headlamps, depending on when vehicles are detected approaching from the front or overtaking. It provides optimal light for night driving.
BLIND SPOT MONITORING SYSTEM
The blind spot monitoring function is particularly useful on roads with more than one lane. An orange light in the angle of the wing mirror warns you of a vehicle in your blind spot.
ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL WITH STOP & GO FUNCTION
The system uses a camera and radar to detect the vehicle in front and maintains the safe distance set by the driver, using the brakes and accelerator until the vehicle is completely stationary. The system can also restart the car without any driver input.
Available on all versions equipped with EAT8.
ACTIVE SAFETY BRAKE
The emergency braking system limits the risk of collision. It operates from 3mph with fixed or moving objects and with pedestrians. The driver is warned if a collision risk is detected. The system will automatically apply the brakes without relying on the driver’s reaction.
KEYLESS ENTRY AND START
This system lets you lock/unlock and start your car without taking the keys out. The car recognises its driver as soon as he/she approaches.
TRAILER STABILITY CONTROL
Working with the ESP, this function identifies trailer sway and acts on the vehicle braking system to ensure stability, on any vehicle fitted with a towbar.
PARK ASSIST
This function is an active parking aid for parallel and bay parking. At the request of the driver, it automatically detects a space and then controls the steering to park the car in complete safety. The only thing left to do is reverse, accelerate and brake.

A new colour capacitive 10" screen makes New Citroën C5 Aircross more user-friendly by offering direct access to climate controls and a higher viewpoint that allows you to keep your eyes on the road.
The air vents are now located below the screen and have been modernised with a new and sleek horizontal design

Towards semi-autonomous driving
This system, which is particularly useful on motorways, allows the driver to partially delegate driving.
Simply select a target speed from above 18 mph and the system will maintain the position of New Citroën C5 Aircross in its lane, by following the lines on the road. Combined with Adaptive Cruise Control and Stop&Go systems, your car is then able to maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front, even slowing to a halt, stopping and restarting if necessary.
The driver remains in control of the car, needs to keep their hands on the steering wheel and can take back control at any time.
