WARRANTY EXTENSION AND SERVICING CONTRACTS


I bought my car and now I want to take out an extended warranty or servicing contract.

Haven't yet taken out an extended warranty or servicing contract? It's not too late to do so!
• Are you interested in a warranty extension?
You can request one until your vehicle is 2 years old.
• Would you like something that includes servicing?
Take it out before or during the first service, irrespective of the mileage your car has done.
You can make this change at any point of sale.

I want to amend my extended warranty or servicing contract.

You can do so. You can increase the duration and/or mileage of your contract before it expires, within the possible limits (duration/miles).
The amount due will be recalculated on the basis of the original price of your contract, without any additional charges.

What happens if I exceed the duration or mileage that I purchased?

Your extended warranty or maintenance contract ends as soon as you reach the duration or mileage you signed up for.
However, you have the option of extending the duration and/or mileage before the end of your contract. 

What if my car is stolen or damaged?

In this case, your contract will end on the date of the theft or accident, if it causes your car to be written off.
If you had made an upfront payment, you will be reimbursed on a pro-rata basis on the date of the theft or accident. If you chose to pay in instalments, an end-of-contract readjustment will be made and future due dates will be set on the date of the accident.

What if I resell my car?

• Have you taken out a warranty extension or servicing contract that you paid for up front?
You can transfer it to your buyer.
• Did you opt for financing for your contract?
It will end on the date of the sale. As subscription contracts are not transferable, future instalments remain due.
