My Ami Cargo is the antithesis to large cumbersome commercial vehicles. It a solution for today’s logistic challenges, whether that’s last mile deliveries, tradespeople or as an on-site support vehicles.

It’s an ideal utility vehicle that’s electric, ultra-compact and economical. In place of the passenger seat is a modular storage setup that gives My Ami Cargo 400l of storage space, up to 1.2 metres loading length and features a payload of 140 KG.

Big things come in small packages

Ami's ultra-compact size is ideal for navigating the city and when parking. Taking up just half a parking space - it's just 2.41 m long, 1.39 m wide and 1.52 m high.

Its tight 7.20 m turning circle allows Ami to perform quick and easy manoeuvres in town and considerably simplifies parking.

Ami isn't the most powerful company car, but it is by far the most efficient thanks to its light weight and electric motor.

Zero emission

Environmentally friendly, the 100% electric Ami emits zero emissions when driving and means free access to increasingly restricted city centres. Thanks to its 100% electric drivetrain, there are no engine noises or vibrations heard inside, ensuring a peaceful driver for driver and passenger.

Ami has a whole host of storage space throughout the passenger compartment and can be increased further with the addition of a colour pack – choose from Orange, Blue or Grey.

If you require more storage for your business then My Ami Cargo is ideal, in place of the passenger seat is a modular storage space that increases total loading volume to 400 litres, can support up to 140 KG of weight and loads that are up to 1.2 metres in length.

Charge Ami in just four hours

Simply plug in the onboard cable, located in the body on the passenger side, and Type 2 adapter into your home wall box, at work or when out and about using a public charger.

Ami as an idea range for most short daily journeys - whether that's popping to the shops, meeting up with friends nearby or a return journey to work. More than enough for the average UK driver's daily mileage, with current estimates placing an average daily journey between 10 and 20 miles.

Ami driving license requirements

A category AM or B (otherwise known as a Full) driving license is required to operate Ami (a provisional license is not sufficient). It's easy to check which categories you can drive as these will be listed on the back of your driving license.

Easy to drive

Ami is reassuringly easy to drive thanks to its stability, a maximum speed of 28mph and no gear lever or clutch. The drive selector has only three buttons, D, N and R for drive, neutral and reverse.

Since 2008, ubitricity has been on a mission to make this energy available anytime, everywhere and for all electric vehicle (EV) drivers. With their innovative lamppost charge points, ubitricity ensure that EVs can be charged where they are parked. They currently operate the UK’s largest public charging network.

This collaboration is an agreement between two similarly minded brands with two fantastic electric mobility focused solutions; Citroën Ami and ubitricity’s lamppost charge points. The collaboration aims to offer a full-service package for EV drivers as well as local authorities.

No, as Ami is 100% electric it is exempt from the Congestion Charge and ULEZ

Yes, this is possible. We would recommend using a thinner wrap to ensure the wrap makes a good connection to the unpainted plastic body panels

Each Ami will be delivered with a standard European two-pin plug and a type 2 adaptor enabling it to be charged at all UK public charging points. Please note: electric vehicles sold in the United Kingdom are required to have the ability to charge via a type 2 charging cable, and our approved Type 2 charger is only compatible with a European two-pin plug

No, the Ami features a recess section for the cable to sit when charging

As a quadricycle, Ami is not permitted to drive on motorways. Ami is designed for an inner-city environment. Fast roads are not made for Ami! We would recommend sticking to 20 and 30 mph roads where Ami is ideal

Ami performs fine on the majority of hills, although you will see its top speed reduced on the steepest of hills. We would recommend a test drive to ensure you are happy before placing an order (which will supersede your reservation fee)

Yes, Ami will roll back on any gradient when releasing the brake pedal or parking brake so please take care when driving

No, Ami does not creep forward like some automatic gearboxes

Yes, Ami is surprisingly spacious inside and can accommodate drivers of up to 6 ft. 6 in comfortably

Ami is certified as a quadricycle. It is limited to 28 mph and there are no plans to increase its top speed

Ami’s compact size means there isn't much difference between where the driver and passenger sit in terms of road positioning. Its left-hand drive configuration also means a safe kerbside exit for the driver

In addition to the driver, the maximum additional weight allowed is 140 kg

As Ami is a quadricycle, it does not go through the same ratings as a car would. Ami does comply with all regulations that apply to quadricycles and I'm sure you would agree, a safer mode of transport than either an e-bike or e-scooter which is a much more suitable comparison 

 No, Ami does not feature ISOFIX anchor points; we highly recommended that you do not fit a child seat in the Ami

Ami does not feature a suitable towing eye to be towed on two-wheels, it should always be towed on a flatbed transporter
